DescriptionThe Senior Consultant - Geo Environmental will join the Ground and Water (Contaminated Land) team to deliver geo-environmental projects. This role involves conducting Phase 1 and Phase 2 contaminated land assessments, data interpretation, and reporting, while working closely with team members, Project Managers, and Directors.
Responsibilities
- Communicate and liaise effectively with the Ground and Water project team.
- Undertake desk-based research to understand geo-environmental site settings and identify potential contamination sources.
- Develop conceptual site models.
- Review and screen datasets and interpret data.
- Prepare reports under the supervision of senior team members.
- Conduct site investigations, sampling, and monitoring if project sites are in India.
Qualifications- Degree in environmental science, geology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in geo-environmental (land contamination) assessments.
- Experience in Phase 1 desk study assessments and Phase 2 contaminated land risk assessments.
- Proficiency in data interpretation and reporting.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
