SUMMARY
Incumbent coordinates and performs technical and regulatory functions to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for protection of city-owned water and wastewater systems. Activities include coordinating, interacting with, and providing information to a variety of City departments, regulatory agencies, and other entities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma/GED and two years of specialized maintenance experience in water technology, cross connection control or a related field sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed on the job description. Vocational Degree preferred. Additional education cannot be substituted for experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have at time of hire and be able to maintain a valid Arizona Driver License.
Grade 1 certification from any of the ADEQ disciplines or a Cross Connection Control Certification is preferred.
SELECTION PROCESS
