Spark Renewables is growing rapidly with major projects underway, including the Dinawan and Wattle Creek Energy Hubs. To support this next phase, we’re hiring a Governance and Administration Officer to strengthen our project delivery team.
The role
Reporting to the Project Governance Manager, you’ll ensure governance processes across the project lifecycle, including reporting, approvals, risk management, and compliance.
You’ll collaborate with teams across development, engineering, legal, and finance to maintain standards and performance.
Some of your duties will include:
- Assist in managing project governance processes across the lifecycle
- Preparing reports and dashboards for projects and boards
- Monitoring risks, issues, schedules, and budgets
- Tracking compliance obligations
- Administering project systems and document control
- Building relationships with internal teams and stakeholders
- Coordinating project approvals
- Maintaining governance frameworks and policies
- Providing PMO admin support (meetings, logistics, minutes)
About you
- You have project management certification (PMP, Prince2, or similar)
- 2+ years’ experience in project delivery or governance.
- You have the ability to manage multiple tasks calmly under pressure
- You are a strong team player, adaptable and collaborative
- You have a good understanding of project budgets and reporting
- You have basic knowledge of compliance and safety standards
- You are a communicator and great at building relationships
