Summary
Principal advisor and management consultant to Superintendent and management team for administrative matters. Responsible for advising on all administrative matters in the park and guiding management and staff of the park toward effective management of the park's business. Exercise independent judgement and responsibility among special technical, supervisory, or administrative lines in office, business, or fiscal administration requiring administrative experience.
Major Duties
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide accurate and reliable advice on a wide range of administrative functions, including: Plans, analyzes and monitors the formulation and development of park-wide plans, programs, procedures, operating policies, internal controls and program goals. Maintain/monitor the park's business systems to ensure maximum probability of mission success. Keeps the park's revenues and spending in balance through sound advice on budget and financial management on a day-to-day basis. Develops procedures and internal operating controls according to regulation to eliminate waste and prevent fraud in use of Government property and resources. Completes and enforces park wide audits on finance, collections, purchasing, accounts receivable and payable, charge cards, and debt collections. Primary liaison with the servicing Human Resources Office and aquisitions. Acquires goods and services the park requires to accomplish it mission and programs. Position may have supervisory duties, if such, a supervisory probationary period will be required.
