Summary

Major Duties
Major Duties of this position include: Ensures the water treatment and distribution process is compliant with the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) and the United States Public Health Service (USPHS) standards. Responsible for water quality monitoring, sampling, testing and reporting. Ensures the wastewater collection process is in compliance with the ADEQ and USPHS standards. Operates a pumper truck to maintain septic tanks at all restrooms and vault toilets throughout the park. Performs functional maintenance and repairs to various types of above- and below- ground pipe materials, connection systems, valves, clamps, gauges, meters, electrical motors, pumps, chemical feeders, auxiliary generators, and related devices. Will be responsible for researching and order materials to maintain water and wastewater system. Ability to perform laboring duties that require moderate to heavy physical effort and lift 50 pounds as part of operation and repair work, ability to use and maintain plumbing and hand tools.
