Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to repair defective electrical wiring, controls, equipment, and fixtures in visitor centers, offices, ranger stations, museums, collection storage facilities, hotels, restaurants, maintenance facilities, public buildings, employee housing areas, residences, restrooms, campgrounds, ships, boats, trains, garages, and/or shops. The incumbent is required to adhere to all applicable electrical safety codes and standards.
Major Duties
The successful candidate for this position will perform the following duties: Repairs defective electrical wiring, controls, equipment, and fixtures Adheres to all applicable electrical safety codes and standards Removes, replaces, tightens, splices, solders, and insulates defective wiring, controls, equipment, and fixtures. Maintains electrical wiring and associated fixtures, controls, and equipment Follows all standard safety procedures, wearing all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) associated with the job. Cut-off Dates: This is an open continuous announcement, in which applications are collected over several months, and have multiple cut-off dates.
