The Opportunity
You will be part of Hitachi Energy's Cooling Systems business unit in Landskrona. We have global responsibility for the development and manufacture of cooling systems for Power Electronic applications and other applications that require cooling systems with high reliability and availability. Our cooling systems contribute to a safe and reliable operation where the customer and the environment are in focus. Take on an exciting challenge in a global company with focus on the development and manufacture of cooling system solutions for both power transmission and new exciting areas that are driven by the transformation into a fossil-free society.
Cooling Systems in Landskrona is a market-leading supplier with customers all over the world. As our new Environmental and Employee Health & Safety Manager you will be part of our unit with 300 employees in Landskrona working in a growing market.
How you’ll make an impact
- Leading and developing a small team of HSE Specialists
- Driving performance improvements in health, safety, and environmental practices
- Ensuring compliance with local regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements
- Conducting regular inspections, audits, and reviews across the site
- Investigating incidents and sharing learnings across the organization
- Training of staff in HSE related matters and supporting managers to become role models in the HSE-area
- Part of the Management team
- Engaging with the community, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders
Your background
- Higher education within a relevant area.
- Thorough knowledge and competence regarding Swedish laws and regulations concerning HSE and work experience within HSE
- Knowledge in auditing (ISO45001, ISO14001 and ISO50001).
- As a person you are supportive, methodical, structured and result oriented.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- You master the Swedish and English languages. Both oral and written.
