About Sustainability and Business Advisory
Our Sustainability and Business Advisory unit partners with Corporates and Funders to design and implement strategic interventions that support their sustainability goals. We craft focused strategies and forward-looking action plans, grounded in rigorous research and data-driven insights, to enable a meaningful transition towards net zero.
About the role:
The intern will support partnerships and business development initiatives, including lead generation, stakeholder outreach, and pilot coordination. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and PowerPoint skills, be proactive, and be willing to travel locally for meetings. Candidates with an interest or background in education, early childhood, startups, or sales will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Support business development and outreach efforts by researching and identifying potential partner organisations, and building and managing a structured lead pipeline.
Conduct stakeholder outreach through email, LinkedIn, and calls, and coordinate partnership meetings, demos, and follow-ups.
Support the development and customization of pitch decks, along with conducting market and stakeholder research to inform partnership strategy.
Maintain trackers and documentation to monitor outreach efforts, partnership progress, and key updates.
Assist in the implementation and coordination of pilot partnerships, including stakeholder communication and follow-ups.
Support meetings and field-level coordination, and attend relevant meetings and events in Bengaluru as required.
Act as a reliable execution support across BD and project needs during high-intensity periods.
Role Requirements
Final year students or recent graduates in Education, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, Business/Management, Liberal Arts, or related fields.
Prior experience or demonstrated interest in sales, business development, or startup environments will be an added advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in PowerPoint and basic Excel, along with strong research and structured thinking skills.
High ownership mindset, proactive approach, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Based in Bengaluru, willing to travel locally for meetings, and comfortable working in a startup setting.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative consulting environment and manage multiple tasks.
