The mines in the Netarhat cluster cater to alumina refineries at Renukoot with the bauxite dispatched through the railway siding at Tori. Once mining plan is finalised in collaboration with the Geological department and approved by the Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM), mining operation is undertaken at the mines primarily through contractual manpower.
