Job Summary:
Liberty Tire Recycling has an immediate opening for a General Laborer/Tire Roller in Calhoun, GA. This is a manual labor position. Laborers assist drivers and production staff in all areas of operation including the loading, unloading, and grading of waste tires from contracted sites.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operating equipment
- Housekeeping
- Grading
- Unloading Tires
- Product Labeling and Storage
- Preventative maintenance
- Completing production worksheets
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities:
- Must pass drug screen
- Reliable method of transportation to arrive at the work location on-time
- Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift upwards to 100lbs consistently through the worked day
- Requires walking, lifting, prolonged sitting/standing/bending/kneeling and the ability to work in cramped/confined spaces.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.
Compensation:
$17.00 hourly, paid bi-weekly
