DescriptionPele is seeking a talented and ambitious graduate to join our Procurement team. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the expansion of the Company’s energy related projects.
The graduate will work closely with the Procurement team to assist in the sourcing of contractors and supplies for the company projects
RequirementsJob Responsibilities
- Assist in EPC RFP processes including site visits, bidder conferences, clarifications...
- Implement adjudication methodologies covering technical, financial, commercial, health & safety, and other criteria.
- Assist in the selection and appointment of EPC and O&M contractors, including preferred and reserved bidders.
- Procure construction subcontracts and equipment supplies, ensuring alignment with project timelines and specifications.
- Build and maintain databases of supplier pricing and procurement benchmarks
- Provide general administrative support to the Procurement Unit as and when required.
- Support routine and ad-hoc Procurement reporting and meetings.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering (all streams can be motivated) or in Supply Chain Management
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Strong reporting analytics skills.
- Ability to effectively learn and follow instructions and acquire new knowledge and skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, PowerPoint and Project management tools.
