Security Site Supervisor – Mall Environment
Location:Etobicoke, ON
Pay Rate: $23.00 to $24.00/hour
Schedule:Monday to Friday, 07:30–15:30(Flexibility required to cover additional hours and shifts)
About the Role
Allied Universal isseekinga dedicated, experienced Senior Security Site Supervisor to lead daily operations in a busy retail mallin Etobicoke. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, an effective leader, and someone who takes pride inmaintaininga safe and welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and staff.
In this role, you will supervise frontline Security Professionals and the Team Lead, support incident response, and ensure the smooth execution of all site procedures. Applicants with retail or mall supervisory experience and strong attention to detail are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations
- Supervise, guide, and support the security team to ensure efficient daily operations and adherence to site protocols.
- Conductpre-shiftbriefings, assign duties, and provide coaching to strengthen team performance and development.
- Reviewsubmittedreports to ensure all relevant information isaccuratebefore approval.
Incident Response & Safety
- Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, emergencies, and incidents.
- Coordinate effectively with mall management, law enforcement, and emergency services as needed.
Access Control & Surveillance
- Monitor CCTV systems and conduct proactive patrols throughout the property.
- Enforce access control measures tomaintaina secure and safe environment.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare detailed andaccurateincident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.
Customer Service & Relations
- Engage with mall tenants, visitors, and management in a professional andcustomer-focusedmanner.
- Support a safe, positive experience for all individuals on site.
Requirements
- Minimum2 years of supervisory experiencein retail, mall, or otherhigh-trafficsecurity environments.
- Recognition ordemonstratedmerit in security or law enforcement is strongly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent documentation, incident reporting, and computerproficiency.
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Valid Standard/Emergency First Aid & CPR certification.
- Eligible to work up to 40 hours per week.
- Physically capable of standing/walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and occasionallyliftingupto 20 kg.
