Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze HSE-related data including incident reports, near-misses, inspections, audits, and training records
- Develop dashboards and recurring reports to track key safety and environmental performance indicators (KPIs)
- Support trend analysis to identify leading and lagging indicators, root causes, and areas for improvement
- Assist with regulatory compliance reporting and documentation (OSHA, EPA, company policies)
- Collaborate with HSE professionals to translate data insights into actionable recommendations
- Support digitalization initiatives for safety reporting tools and systems (e.g., SharePoint, Power BI, Excel, SAP, EHS platforms)
- Prepare presentations and summaries for leadership and operational teams
- Maintain data integrity and ensure accurate documentation of HSE metrics

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering.
- Basic understanding of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and data analysis skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional and proactive attitude toward workplace safety.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Environmental exposures are similar to those found in most heavy industrial settings and may include noise, heat, cold, vibration, dust, fumes and smoke. Work may be executed indoors or outdoors and may involve exposure to inclement weather conditions.
