We are seeking a motivated intern for our Wakefield, MA office to assist with projects throughout the U.S. This is an excellent opportunity to learn from our senior staff and gain a wide range of experience.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties
- Under supervision of the senior staff, work on a variety of environmental projects.
- Assist with the implementation of subsurface and remedial investigations and environmental site assessments, observe test boring and monitoring well installations, and collect groundwater, sediment, surface water, and air samples.
- Assist with data management and analysis and prepare field documentation and reports.
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills required, strong computer skills with technical analysis software.
- Ability to perform field work in active constructions sites year-round without restrictions, and in inclement weather if required.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle to use for field visits. Willingness to travel on temporary assignments and to work overtime as needed.
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years in a technical degree program, preferably geology, environmental science, or civil/environmental engineering.
