If so, you could be the Solar R&R Thermal Installation Subcontractor we're looking for at Remove and Replace Solar! We're hiring a motivated person to join us on an on-call basis and provide critical support during roof replacement projects. Keep reading to see if you could be the right fit!
WHAT TO EXPECT AS OUR SOLAR R&R INSTALLATION SUBCONTRACTOR:
- Carefully removing and reinstalling solar PV and thermal panels during roofing projects
- Coordinating with your crew to complete high-quality work within a reasonable timeframe
- Following all safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies
- Draining, disconnecting, labeling, and protecting components like PV modules and thermal collectors
- Making solid, watertight electrical and thermal piping connections
- Testing systems after reinstallment to check functionality and minimize callbacks
WHAT WE OFFER THIS 1099 POSITION:
- Commission-based pay of $60.00+ per hour
- Ability to earn more based on your ability to complete thermal services
- Flexible schedules with the ability to scale crew size to increase production
- Consistent workflow during peak roofing season
- Ability to work on both PV and thermal systems

If you're interested in becoming our Solar R&R Installation Subcontractor, you'll need:
- 3+ years of residential solar R&R experience with demonstrated exposure to thermal panel systems
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- General liability insurance, workers' compensation (or valid exemption), and commercial auto insurance
- Ability to travel to projects throughout the Denver Front Range
Our ideal person has plumbing/mechanical experience with thermal systems and can accurately troubleshoot PV systems and electrical components. NABCEP certification and/or a Colorado Journeyman license would be a bonus!
