Position Summary
The Seasonal Part-Time Groundskeeper supports the Grounds Maintenance Department in maintaining the beauty, cleanliness, and overall appearance of the Caldwell Zoo grounds. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming and well-maintained environment for guests, staff, and animals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with planting, watering, weeding, raking, and trimming landscaped areas
Perform general lawn and landscape maintenance
Remove litter and debris throughout zoo grounds
Clean walkways, driveways, and public areas
Maintain and clean picnic areas
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Experience is a plus, but not necessary
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
