What you’ll do
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
Connection Center Events
- Partner with leadership teams to execute events and implement directives that drive optimal results.
- Perform opening and closing procedures to maintain operational excellence and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Interact with customers and prospective customers to provide education and explain offerings to potential buyers.
- Generate reservations and capture customer information in the CRM for future engagement.
- Provide guidance and direction to Connection Center staff and temporary associates to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
- Collaborate with leadership on event execution and directive to achieve the maximum results.
Scout Supply Sales
- Introduce and promote Scout Supply sales, offering complementary pieces that align with and enhance the customer’s lifestyle.
- Work closely with stakeholders and team members to implement visual merchandising guidelines and optimize stock levels to ensure continuous product availability.
- Provide insights on merchandise needs, including suggestions for top-selling and high-demand items, as well as identifying underperforming products.
Post Event Feedback
- Gather insights and feedback from team members and temporary staff on event successes and challenges, and compile customer feedback, common questions, and recurring themes post-event to the leadership team and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with local teams on future event planning and execution.
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia South Carolina.
- This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.
- Travel: Domestic and international travel required, approximately 25% of the time. Valid driver's license required.

- 2+ years of experience in retail sales.
- 2+ years of demonstrated expertise in CRM management and customer data collection.
- Experience in merchandise execution and inventory maintenance.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of internal teams and external partners.
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing tasks in fast-paced environments.
- Adaptable and proactive, comfortable with change and able to thrive in dynamic settings.
- Team-oriented and personable, while maintaining independence and accountability.
- Minimum of High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required for all roles at Scout Motors, Inc.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required, approximately 25% of the time.
- Valid driver's license required.

Pay Transparency
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Hourly Rate: $21.63 - $26.44
