The Role
Tasman is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to support ongoing remediation and scientific projects for a key Oil & Gas client in the Rocky Mountain Region.
In this role, you’ll lead projects from scoping through execution and closeout — managing client relationships, overseeing budgets and schedules, navigating regulatory frameworks, and coordinating internal technical teams.
This is a leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, understands environmental remediation, and can confidently manage both clients and cross-functional teams.
What You’ll Be Doing
Project & Client Management

Serve as primary point of contact for client stakeholders

Manage remediation projects within regulatory requirements, SOPs, budgets, and schedules

Scope, develop, and cost new project opportunities

Build and lead project teams to meet performance and compliance goals

Support construction-focused execution alongside Oil & Gas operations
Regulatory & Technical Oversight

Prepare and submit deliverables to multiple regulatory agencies

Ensure strict compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards

Collaborate with internal technical experts to support project execution

Attend client-sponsored safety meetings and implement procedural updates as needed
Operational & Financial Management

Track budgets, forecasting, and invoicing

Monitor project performance and resource allocation
-
Identify risks and proactively solve problems to maintain schedule and cost controls

Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
What You Bring
Required
-
6+ years of project management experience in environmental or oil & gas industries

Strong leadership and organizational skills

Experience managing remediation projects within regulatory frameworks

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience working with safety regulations and SOP-driven environments
