Pay: $80,000–$90,000 base + uncapped commission + bonuses + new client bonus

About the Role:
Paragon Staffing is expanding its Environmental Services Division and is seeking a Regional Environmental Operations Manager to launch and lead operations in Maryland.
This is a field-first leadership role, not a desk recruiting position.
You will:
- Oversee active environmental jobs
- Deploy and manage HAZWOPER-certified crews
- Ensure OSHA compliance
- Build regional operations from the ground up
Paragon is a staffing company — we recruit, train, employ, and deploy certified environmental technicians to support remediation projects, emergency response, and industrial operations.
Core Responsibilities - Environmental Operations & Field Execution (PRIMARY):
- Oversee and support active environmental projects requiring Paragon staffing crews
- Coordinate deployment of HAZWOPER-certified technicians
- Serve as the primary point of contact during job execution for staffing-related matters
- Troubleshoot manpower, scheduling, and redeployment issues
- Support emergency response staffing deployments when required
OSHA, Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure all deployed personnel meet OSHA, HAZWOPER, and site-specific safety requirements
- Verify technician certifications prior to deployment
- Act as a knowledgeable compliance resource for client job execution
Business Development & Market Launch:
- Identify and secure new environmental services clients in Maryland
- Build partnerships with remediation contractors, restoration firms, and industrial service providers
- Negotiate contracts, markups, and staffing terms
- Own market entry strategy and early growth
Office Launch & Team Building:
- Open and establish regional office as demand develops
- Hire and manage local sales, recruiting, and field leadership staff
- Build scalable staffing teams aligned with Paragon’s safety and performance standards
REQUIRED Qualifications (Non-Negotiable):
- 5+ years experience in environmental services operations, remediation, industrial cleanup, or emergency response
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA and HAZWOPER requirements
- Experience overseeing or supporting environmental field crews
- Ability to operate autonomously in a startup / market-launch environment
- Valid driver’s license and ability to visit job sites and clients
Preferred (Nice to Have):
- Experience with environmental staffing models
- Experience launching or expanding a new territory
- Team hiring and leadership experience
