Target Salary Range:€50,000 – €80,000+ per annum (Benchmarked against 4+ years of experience).

Core Responsibilities & Technical Scope
Mechanical Lead: Heading the full-cycle mechanical installation of Solar PV arrays on residential, industrial, and agricultural infrastructures.
Structural Expertise: Executing advanced mounting solutions across diverse roof types (including Slate, Tile, Kingspan, and Standing Seam) ensuring uncompromising waterproofing and structural integrity.
Standards Compliance: Ensuring every installation meets or exceeds SEAI Domestic Technical Standards (DTSS) and S.R. 54:2014 Code of Practice.
On-Site Leadership: Supervising a dedicated installation crew, managing daily task allocation, and maintaining rigorous quality control.
Technical Synergy: Collaborating with the Electrical Engineering team to facilitate seamless DC stringing and integration with inverters and battery storage systems.
EHS Management: Acting as the Site Safety Lead; conducting daily risk assessments (RAMS), ensuring scaffold/access compliance, and enforcing fall-arrest protocols.
Professional Requirements
Industry Tenure: A minimum of 4 years of verifiable experience specifically in Solar PV installation.
Regulatory Compliance:* Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications.
Licensing: A full, clean Driving License(Category B) is essential; Category BE (Trailer) is a significant advantage.
Education: A background in a traditional trade (Carpentry, Roofing, or Metalwork) or a QQI Level 6 qualification in Solar PV systems is highly desirable.
Competencies: Proven ability to read architectural/technical drawings and a track record of delivering projects within strict deadlines.
