Summary
Business Intelligence Analyst supports data reporting and analytics by building and maintaining reports and dashboards in OBRC’s reporting tools, including Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services, and others. This role works with Azure SQL and other data sources to help OBRC’s leadership and teams understand performance, trends, and key metrics.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Write and maintain SQL queries against Azure SQL and other databases
- Build and update SSRS reports and Power BI reports and dashboards
- Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot reporting issues
- Work with stakeholders to understand basic reporting needs
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, or Computer Science required.
- 2+ years’ experience in business intelligence, data analysis, and database management.
Requirements – Skills, Job Knowledge & Abilities
- In-depth understanding of database design and construction.
- Advanced proficiency in use of reporting tools, Excel and transact SQL queries
- Proficiency and professional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple projects, adhere to deadlines, handle frequent changes effectively and professionally, follow through on issues in a timely manner.
- Strong organization skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels with both internal and external partners.
- Technical proficiency in BI tools, specifically Power BI.
- Analytical and critical thinking.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Azure data platforms.
- Exposure to DAX or Power Query.
- Experience with business or operational data.
