Hours: This is a seasonal position anticipated to run through November/December, contingent upon business operations and individual performance. Exact schedule will vary based on operational needs and may range from 12 to 15 hours per week.
Pay Rate: $16.41/hour
Summary:
Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium is seeking a Revenue Control Teller to assist with the daily cash handling operations in the Revenue Control Room. This is a seasonal position that reports directly to the Revenue Control Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Prepare daily, weekly, bi-weekly and monthly deposits.
- Insure that all vault policies and procedures are followed.
- Check in and check out daily bank bags.
- Roll loose coin for recirculation.
- Distribute petty cash.
- Assist customers with lost and found items.
- Assist with balancing weekly membership drive turn-ins.
- Collecting daily bank bags.
- All other duties assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Valid state drivers license and high school diploma required, or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years or old.
- Extensive cash handling experience preferred.
- Strong communication and clerical skills preferred.
- Microsoft Office and 10 key adding machine skills required.
- If required- must be able to work during weekends, evenings and holidays.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Prolonged periods of standing and sitting.
- Office environment with restricted access.
