Qualifications:
Education or Equivalency Required:
A bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Biology, ecological/aquatic sciences, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Required Qualifications:
·Demonstrate a working knowledge with water quality monitoring techniques, fisheries sampling, and/or macroinvertebrate sampling.
·Demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills, and ability to interact positively with individuals from varied backgrounds.
·Possession of a valid state or commercial driver's license, and the ability to meet University Fleet Safety Standards.
Highly Desirable Qualifications:
·Experience pulling and parking a trailer.
·Taxonomy experience with Iowa fish.
Desirable Qualifications:
·Taxonomy experience with aquatic macroinvertebrates and/or phytoplankton.
·Experience with water quality analysis in a laboratory.
