Your Opportunity
As Triton continues to grow, we are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic entry‑level environmental professionals, to join our established safety‑conscious and people‑first teams in both British Columbia and Alberta.
This position will be responsible for participating in soil and groundwater-related field programs and providing reporting support to project managers. If you’re looking for a dynamic career filled with meaningful work and long‑standing community impact, we’d love to meet you!
Your Impact
- Assisting in environmental site assessments (Phase 1 and 2 ESAs), including soil, groundwater and soil vapour sampling
- Assisting with reclamation field programs
- Assisting in soil and groundwater remediation programs
- Conducting vegetation and soil assessments to aid in determining reclamation success
- Contributing to multi-disciplinary projects
- Contributing to high-quality reports (Phase 1 and 2 ESAs, detailed site assessments)
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and sub-contractors
- Helping to ensure the quality, cost, and timeliness of deliverables are maintained
- Ensuring clients’ and Triton’s safety standards are maintained or exceeded
- Working collaboratively within Triton’s corporate culture
Your Skills and Experience
- Undergraduate degree (B.Sc.) or diploma in soil science, land reclamation, environmental science, earth sciences, or related field.
- Registered or eligible for future registration with the AB Institute of Agrologists (AIA), BC Institute of Agrologists, Alberta Society of Professional Biologists (ASPB), or another relevant professional organization in Alberta or British Columbia
- Relevant summer or other job experience is considered a significant asset.
- Knowledge and experience with soil classification and mapping using the Canadian System of Soil Classification
- Basic understanding of Provincial regulatory guidelines in Alberta
- Understanding of regulatory guidelines in other jurisdictions (i.e., BC, SK, Federal) is an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative working style
- Valid drivers license from a Canadian province or Territory acceptable for driving alone and with passengers in a work setting.

Your Compensation
Wages are commensurate with experience and qualifications, with the approximate wage range being $25 to $32 per hour.
Location, Work Schedule & Flexibility
With offices across British Columbia and Alberta this position can be in any of our office locations. This role is largely field‑based.
