Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will manage Environment, Health and Safety programs that minimize environmental impact and support a safe, injury‑free workplace. You will guide the development of a strong facility‑wide Environmental, Health and Safety culture through technical expertise, program leadership and collaborative partnerships. You will lead safety initiatives that advance progress toward zero injuries and world‑class performance, oversee environmental processes to ensure timely reporting and compliance, and support training efforts that equip managers and employees with essential safety and environmental practices. You will partner with all departments to promote safety, environmental accountability and sustainable stewardship, while analyzing incident trends to prevent future occurrences.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of environmental, health, safety and sustainable‑development programs.
- Direct environmental compliance and performance functions in alignment with government regulations, corporate guidelines and all applicable environmental requirements.
- Maintain documentation and ensure all required environmental reports are submitted accurately and on time.
- Develop and deliver training programs that support an injury‑free workplace and strengthen safety practices across the plant.
- Participate in accident investigations and prepare regulatory reports.
- Conduct inspections and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective or preventive measures.
- Facilitate the Central Safety Committee by actively engaging in subcommittee work and serving as a subject matter resource.
- Administer initial workers’ compensation processes.
- Guide the facility in meeting State, Federal and local Safety and Environmental regulations.
- Direct required compliance training that meets OSHA, TOSHA, EPA and internal standards.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year university in Industrial Hygiene, Safety Management, Environmental Health or Environmental Health and Safety.
- Minimum of five years of industrial safety experience.
- CSP certification preferred.
- Experience leading and developing teams.
- Thorough understanding of OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations.
- Skill in interpreting regulatory requirements and determining facility application to ensure compliance.
- Skill in writing regulatory reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Experience conducting risk assessments and audits.
- Skill in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions.

Compensation:
Pay Range:$81,000-$118,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
