Home and Office Printing Environmental Steward + AI/Automation Engineer

Job Summary
The Printing product steward partners with design teams to establish the product Design for Environmental (DfE) goals, follows up through the entire product development life cycle to implement the goals with internal stakeholders.
Besides working on the new product intro and current product compliance, the printing product steward also leads/supports Sustainable Impact (SI) programs that help deliver our company wide regulatory and SI goals as well as projects to implement regulatory or voluntary environmental requirements.
Responsibilities
Set product environmental goals with design teams, communicate improvement required with stakeholders.
Ensure product compliance and enable market access.
Track progress and report status to partners and key stakeholders.
Support risk management and issue resolution processes.
Act as cross-team subject matter expert on specific topics (e.g., RoHS, Energy Star, EPEAT)
Lead projects and engage with stakeholders, develop schedules, allocate budget and resources, execute to the product portfolio.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project objectives.
Education & Experience Recommended
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Environmental Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent experience required.
Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in engineering development and implementation, project planning tools and software packages, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
Knowledge & Skills
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Experienced in project management skillsets.
Proficiency in project tracking tools and MS Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Additionally, it is a plus to have
AI use case experience to improve workflow efficiency and data architectures skillsets
Passion and background knowledge of sustainability
