Pivot Energy, an ESG-focused IPP for distributed renewable energy, is looking for an experienced and strategic thinker to lead our Commercial Operations group. This role will lead people, process, and operating fleet financial performance. Additionally, this role will build critical feedback loops across enterprise operations based on operating fleet perspectives, contributing to scaling Pivot Energy’s impact across development and construction.
This position will report to the Chief Operating Officer and play a vital role in drafting and implementing a long-term operational vision. This role owns the end-to-end commercial operating system – from asset-level revenue realization through portfolio-level forecasting, reporting, and investor reporting. The role will partner to build out digital solutions to support current and future fleet performance management and ensure effective collaboration with all operations teams.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with fleet financial management and compliance, customer and revenue management in solar and storage assets, and scaling high-performing teams. Candidates with experience building internal and external-facing processes, driving change within their team and with cross-functional stakeholders, and with data and digital solutions for scaling organizations will be most successful. This person will also work closely with Pivot’s Construction, Operations and Maintenance, Legal, Project Finance, and Accounting teams.
