Job Description
Position Overview
As a Wind Technician III, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of field activities, following company policies, safety protocols, and technical standards.
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, company policies, and technical standards, following established guidelines and contributing to the safe execution of field activities.
Conduct safety inspections and proactively report any identified risks or non‑conformities in accordance with established procedures.
Actively participate in safety dialogues and record at least two monthly observations in Intelex, with support from the technical team.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance under supervision, according to received instructions.
Support and assist in commissioning processes and large component replacements.
Maintain workplace organization and contribute to the continuous application of 5S principles.
Accurately record all performed activities in forms or systems, as instructed.
Take good care of tools, PPE, and materials provided, ensuring proper use.
Collaborate with more experienced technicians, seeking continuous learning and technical development.
Demonstrate collaborative behavior, respecting leadership and contributing to a positive work environment.
Assist in the onboarding of new employees, providing basic guidance under supervision.
Required Skills
Minimum of 4 years of experience working with wind turbines, performing/leading preventive and corrective maintenance.
Experience in uptower repairs and load handling.
Experience with large component replacements.
Completed technical education in electrical, mechanical, or related fields, with an active CFT registration.
Strong communication skills — capable of immediately substituting the site leader when required.
Availability to work at heights, under adverse weather conditions, and in high‑pressure environments.
Valid Category B National Driver’s License (CNH).
Ability to work in a team, follow instructions, and demonstrate operational discipline.
Desired Skills
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Familiarity with different wind turbine platforms.
Previous experience with commissioning or major corrective actions (preferred).
Basic English proficiency.
