We are looking for a Commissioning Supervisor<\/b> to join the commissioning team of a prototype plant dedicated to testing liquid hydrogen (LH2) liquefaction technologies<\/b> for an R&D organization. You will support the start\-up and commissioning phase<\/b> in a shift\-based organization (3x8)<\/b>, working within an existing team and contributing to safe, structured, and transparent execution.

As part of the start\-up phase, you will be deployed on shift to:
<\/div>

Support commissioning and start\-up activities on a cryogenic hydrogen liquefaction pilot\/prototype
<\/p><\/li>

Operate in a team setting where your role may involve supervising pilot operations<\/b> or ensuring minimal\-operation monitoring<\/b>, depending on the shift position and plant status
<\/p><\/li>

Contribute to commissioning readiness, functional testing, and safe ramp\-up to stable operations
<\/p><\/li> <\/ul>

The role is performed in a shift rhythm (3x8)<\/b> with a 6 days out of 7<\/b> organization.
<\/p>

The main tasks and duties are:
<\/div> Supervise and\/or support commissioning and start\-up activities for a cryogenic LH2\/H2 unit
<\/span><\/span><\/li> Perform and document functional checks, loop checks support, and commissioning tests (as applicable)
<\/li> Execute tuning and troubleshooting<\/b> during start\-up, including diagnosis of instrumentation\/electrical\/control issues
<\/li> Read and use engineering documentation effectively (P&IDs, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, etc.)
<\/li> Interface with the commissioning team and participate actively in coordination and follow\-up meetings
<\/li> Ensure strict compliance with safety and operational rules during all start\-up activities
<\/li> <\/ul>

The expected deliverables are:
<\/div> Daily activity reports<\/b> recorded in the shift logbook \/ âcahier de posteâ detailing:<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> tasks performed
<\/li> issues encountered
<\/li> corrective actions \/ solutions implemented
<\/li> <\/ul> Commissioning documentation kept complete and up to date<\/b>, including test reports and associated records
<\/li> Active participation in coordination routines and progress tracking
<\/li> Delivery against agreed schedule objectives and commissioning priorities
<\/li> <\/ul>

Requirements<\/h3>

2â5 years of experience<\/b> in Instrumentation \/ Operations \/ Maintenance<\/b>, preferably in industrial commissioning\/start\-up environments
<\/p><\/li>

Proven ability to work in start\-up \/ commissioning teams<\/b> and in shift operations<\/b>
<\/p><\/li>

Cryogenic unit start\-up<\/b>: expert\-level capability
<\/p><\/li>

Tuning & troubleshooting<\/b>: expert\-level capability
<\/p><\/li>

Hydrogen unit start\-up<\/b>: confirmed experience
<\/p><\/li>

Strong ability to read and interpret<\/b> P&IDs, wiring diagrams, loop diagrams and related documentation
<\/p><\/li>

Electrical fundamentals<\/b> and practical field understanding (confirmed level)
<\/p><\/li>

Strong safety culture and methodical execution mindset
<\/p><\/li>

Clear reporting habits and discipline in documentation
<\/p><\/li>

Able to integrate quickly into an existing team and operate effectively under shift conditions
<\/p><\/li>

Hands\-on, field\-oriented, and comfortable with dynamic start\-up constraints
