Managing carbon estimation and strategy for a major infrastructure programme, developing whole‑life carbon methodologies and low‑carbon solutions. Manages specialist teams, drives transparent carbon reporting, influences sustainable outcomes, and supports infrastructure work‑winning and client relationships through strong technical and stakeholder leadership.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing whole‑life carbon estimation frameworks and tools.
- Embedding carbon principles across design, procurement and delivery.
- Ensuring compliance with standards and carbon best practice.
- Driving innovation to reduce whole‑life carbon impacts.
- Providing strategic carbon advice to senior stakeholders.
- Managing work‑winning and bidding activities.
- Driving sustainability business growth and client relationships.
- Managing, mentoring and developing high‑performing sustainability teams.
You’ll need to have:
- Degree in environmental, sustainability or infrastructure‑related discipline.
- Postgraduate qualification desirable in carbon, environment or infrastructure planning.
- Chartered environmentalist, ISEP member or equivalent carbon management accreditation.
- Proven leadership in carbon strategy, compliance, stakeholder engagement and infrastructure work‑winning.
