Job Summary:
T1 Energy is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Control Room Operator for our first US-based manufacturing plant in North Texas. This state-of-the-art facility spans 1.3 million sq ft on 94 acres and features a large security footprint. The Control Room Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our facility by monitoring live camera feeds, managing access control, and coordinating emergency responses. This position requires flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends, with shift assignments based on tenure and seniority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor CCTV cameras covering the entire facility for any suspicious activity.
- Dispatch security personnel to incidents or areas requiring attention.
- Manage access control by operating doors and gates.
- Oversee intercom communications with external doors and gates.
- Serve as the primary dispatcher for security, coordinating responses and communicating effectively.
- Make external calls to emergency services when necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs and records of all activities and incidents.
- Collaborate with on-shift Security Supervisors to ensure a cohesive security operation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Security Supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Experience in monitoring CCTV systems.
- Proven ability to make quick and effective decisions under pressure.
- High-caliber communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in dispatching, preferably in a security or emergency services environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a high-stress environment.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
