Job Purpose
We’re looking for an ambitious Sales Executive to drive revenue growth across the South of the UK, identifying and securing new business opportunities within the independent garage sector.
In this field‑based role, you’ll also nurture relationships with existing and lapsed customers, helping to maximise long‑term value across your territory. Working closely with our Commercial and Marketing teams, you’ll play a key part in building a strong sales pipeline, delivering proposals, and achieving clearly defined sales and margin targets.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within the independent garage sector on a regional and national basis
- Grow market share by working collaboratively with existing network partners and targeting non‑aligned garages
- Generate and maintain a strong sales pipeline through effective warm and cold calling activity
- Achieve and exceed agreed sales, revenue, and margin targets
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with new, existing, and lapsed customers
- Understand customer requirements and present tailored service solutions
- Support customers throughout the sales process to ensure a smooth transition to contract completion
- Produce high‑quality written proposals
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records within the CRM system
- Produce monthly sales reports, including quote activity, pipeline status, and margin forecasts
- Act as a positive ambassador for Slicker Recycling, promoting the brand and values at all times
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to support business growth and customer satisfaction
Skills & Key Requirements
Essential
- Proven experience working in a target‑driven sales environment (minimum 1 year)
- Experience of using a CRM system
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build relationships via telephone and face‑to‑face meetings
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently and manage own workload
- Strong work ethic with a professional, confident, and approachable manner
Desirable
- Experience selling services within the automotive or independent garage sector
- Experience of producing formal written sales proposals
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Level 4 or above, or demonstrable equivalent experience
Hours of work
40 hours per week - 8:30am - 5:00pm
Monday to Friday, Remote, based from home address
No weekends
