- CDL Driver – 5th Wheel / Roll-Off
Mount Vernon, WA | Home Daily | $29/hr with Safety Bonus
Lautenbach Recycling is looking for the right driver to join our dedicated and professional 5th wheel driving team. If you take pride in safe driving, strong work ethic, and great customer service, we’d love to talk with you. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, safety-focused driver who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a team that looks out for one another.
- Operate 5th wheel trucks hauling roll-off containers
- Maintain DOT compliance and company safety standards
- Deliver outstanding customer service at job sites and facilities
- Complete daily runs that generally begin and end at our Mount Vernon facility
- Work within the I-5 corridor
- Perform physical tasks throughout the day, including:
- Mounting/dismounting trucks multiple times daily
- Climbing trailer ladders
- Lifting 50–75 lbs
- Pushing, pulling, bending, and securing loads
This is a physically demanding role—ideal for drivers who prefer active workdays over sitting still.
Pay
- $29/hour base pay
- +$2/hour Safety & Compliance Bonus
- Total: $31/hour
What Will Make You Stand Out
- Tanker endorsement
- Schedule flexibility Afternoons, evenings are KEY
- TWIC card
- Ability to work nights
- Ability to enter Canada
- Experience with:
- Roll-off trailers (preferred, not required—we will train the right person)
- Landoll or tilt deck trailers (plus)
Minimum Driver Qualifications
Due to our strong commitment to safety, applicants must meet the following:
- 1 or fewer chargeable/preventable accidents in the past 3 years
- No alcohol-related driving offenses within the past 10 years
- Zero careless or reckless driving offenses in the past 10 years
- Zero criminal offenses involving a commercial vehicle, including:
- DUI involving controlled substances
- Transporting controlled substances
- Felony use of a commercial motor vehicle

Location
Our Mount Vernon facility is located just north of Highway 20 in the beautiful Skagit Valley. The site is a fully operational Construction & Demolition recycling center with frequent truck traffic, dust, and noise.
