About the role
As a Reworld intern, you will work on projects that have a real impact on sustainability. Students with a genuine interest in developing a career in sustainability, particularly in the waste industry, are encouraged to apply!
What You'll Do
- Support the publication of environmental data to communicate our performance and sustainability information to stakeholders.
- Assist in the analysis and presentation of Reworld’s operational and environmental data.
- Support management of audit findings for facility operations against corporate environmental programs.
- Conduct policy research to support government relations
- Conduct field activities to support community relations teams.
- Have an opportunity to support internal sustainability initiatives such as waste reduction, recycling, and educational events.
Who You Are
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate engineering, science, policy or sustainability degree program with a focus or interest in environmental and sustainability issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Detail-oriented with evidence of creative problem-solving approach
- Strong team player
- Positive attitude coupled with passion & willingness to learn
- Strong general computer skills required, including experience with Excel and PowerPoint
