The Role
As an Offshore Wind Document Controller at LAUTEC, you will play a key role in managing project documentation and supporting offshore wind projects through all phases – from development to execution. You will ensure that documentation and data are collected, organized, maintained, and shared effectively across internal and external stakeholders.
You will be responsible for facilitating the identification, collection, analysis, and dissemination of project documentation and data. In this role, you will support project teams in utilizing document management software, ensuring adherence to established processes and procedures. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of document control systems, tools, and best practices across the company.
What You Will Do
Ensure standard document management requirements are defined, understood, and met – aligned with internal and external stakeholders – and integrated into the project’s work breakdown structure (WBS).
Execute work in line with the client's document management standards, procedures, tools, and processes supporting tender, development, and construction phases of the offshore wind project.
Collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders to enable smooth creation, collation, transfer, and storage of documents.
Capture lessons learned and feed improvements back into existing processes and procedures.
Support workshops and presentations on document management to facilitate knowledge transfer and promote an effective learning culture.
Facilitate the review of project documentation, files, and associated metadata; ensure timely and correct storage in the document management system (DMS).
Support the Project/Document Manager in maintaining a centralized document database, ensuring information is structured and easily accessible.
Safeguard the accuracy and reliability of stored documentation through validation and verification processes.
Work closely with project and package managers to confirm completeness of documentation for their scope.
What Are We Looking For
Higher education in engineering, business administration, information/document management, or a related discipline.
Document management or controlling experience on large EPCI or infrastructure projects (offshore wind preferred).
Experience with Electronic Document Management (EDM) systems like SharePoint and Aconex (or similar).
Experience with electronic workflows and handling of As-built documentation.
Structured and detail-oriented approach with strong organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively across disciplines and stakeholders.
Professional working proficiency in English and Danish language.
Proactive mindset and outgoing approach to tasks and stakeholders.
