At Saxon Renewables, we operate at the intersection of sustainability, energy markets, and commercial strategy—enabling corporates to meet their decarbonisation goals through high-integrity Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), carbon credits, and emerging environmental instruments.
As an Environmental Commodities Trader, you will work directly with hundreds of traders and brokers globally, playing an active role in facilitating cross-border transactions and supporting the growth of international environmental markets.
Your Mission
- Execute and support trading activities across environmental commodities, including RECs and carbon credits.
- Monitor market dynamics such as supply–demand trends, pricing movements, and regulatory or policy developments.
- Engage with global traders, brokers, renewable energy project owners, and counterparties to support deal origination and execution.
- Structure trades aligned with client requirements while optimising commercial outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with traders, brokers, developers, and other market participants worldwide.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution from trade confirmation through delivery and retirement.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in commercial sales is an added advantage.
- Backgrounds in banking, property/real estate agency, insurance, or other client-facing roles are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interest in building relationships with international counterparties and working in global markets.
- Commercial awareness, with the ability to communicate pricing, negotiation points, and market dunamics clearly.
- Curiosity and adaptibility to operate in an environment shaped by evolving policies and renewable energy mechanisms.
- Dedication to work toward commercial and performance targets in a structured sales or advisory environment.
- Self-initiation that thrives in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial setting and takes ownership of outcomes.
Fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
