The Sustainability Manager will support the Director of Sustainability in implementing the company’s global sustainability strategy across people, planet and product. This role will work cross-functionally with design, licensing, and marketing to drive initiatives that align with our long-term sustainability goals. The ideal candidate has strong project management skills, a collaborative mindset, is very detail oriented and has a deep understanding of sustainability in the apparel and fashion sector.
Responsibilities
Sustainability Data Collection & Analysis
- Partner with the Director of Sustainability to collect and analyze sustainability data from multiple sources to measure and demonstrate YoY impact.
- Manage internal compliance system for all sustainability related product submissions.
- Find opportunities for additional sustainability features in brand’s internal systems that further supports the brand’s ability to participate in industry reporting standards such as Textile Exchange’s Material Benchmark.
- Consolidate data across multiple platforms to demonstrate year over year progress.
- Find ways to streamline and simplify data collection processes.
Responsible Sourcing Program
- Spearhead the evolution of our Responsible Sourcing Program through the expansion of our Responsible Sourcing Academy, CAP remediation, and management of our human rights due diligence platform, EiQ.
- Support with the strategic long-term plan to drive continuous improvement in supply chain through meaningful industry partnership
Supplier & Stakeholder Engagement
- Spearhead a sustainability newsletter that highlights wins, impact opportunities, industry updates, etc.
- Build relationships with industry groups, NGOs, and other external stakeholders to advance the company’s sustainability goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with HR to drive social impact and community engagement initiatives with employees at HQ and globally.
- Support marketing team in telling authentic sustainability stories backed by credible data.
- Support digital team in keeping global sustainability website up to date.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in sustainability, ESG, or corporate responsibility (apparel or consumer goods industry experience strongly preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection and reporting.
- Strong understanding of apparel supply chains, sustainable materials, and key sustainability frameworks (Textile Exchange Materials Benchmarking and Chain of Custody Standards (ie. OCS), Industry Labor Standards for Health & Safety (ie. BSCI), Higg Index, etc.).
- Excellent project management and organizational skills; ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence across levels and functions.
- Passion for sustainability and commitment to driving positive change.
