Join Our Team as a Caretaker!
We are seeking a dependable and professional Caretaker to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for handyman duties, building maintenance tasks like changing light bulbs, and weekly reporting, while promptly responding to client needs and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Site Maintenance: Manage and supervise the site. Monitor and maintain the garbage and recycling rooms. Change light bulbs. Coordinate and supervise annual and seasonal building services and inspections.

Access & Security: Handle fob and enterphone programming.

Administrative Duties: Collect funds as directed, post notices, send emails, and submit caretaker reports.

Property Manager Relations: Maintain consistent communication with the property manager to ensure the building is secure, well-maintained, and operating smoothly. Conduct chemical checks for the hot tub (training will be provided).

Tenant Relations & Management: Respond promptly to tenant questions and requests. Report any concerning issues with tenants or residents to the property manager.

Exterior Grounds: Pick up litter around the entire exterior areas of the building, including sidewalks, courtyards, and driveway ramps.

Floor Care: Sweep and damp mop hard surface floors using a neutral cleaner.

Entrance / Lobby / Common Areas: Clean door frames, disinfect door handles, polish entry code panels, and vacuum walk-off mats.
Requirements

Strong administrative skills

Flexibility, availability, and the ability to address requests promptly

Janitorial experience is an asset

Proven experience in janitorial, caretaker, or related fields

Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations

Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

Proficiency with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, scheduling software, etc.)

Experience working with hot tubs or swimming pools is an asset but not required
