DescriptionResponsibilities
- Act as the key focal point between the company and customers on all HSSE and Sustainability–related matters.
- Conduct facility inspections to identify safety, health, and environmental risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop, implement, and manage HSSE inspection policies, procedures, and routine inspection schedules.
- Oversee and manage the overall HSSE performance across operations.
- Monitor activities of the public, service providers, and third-party contractors to ensure compliance with HSSE requirements, including incident and emergency reporting.
- Assist the superior in managing vendors (contractors, suppliers, service providers), including monitoring performance against contractual SLAs and KPIs.
- Support the maintenance of an up-to-date register for insurance policies, licenses, compliance certificates, and regulatory documentation, and escalate potential non-compliance or lapses when necessary.
- Conduct scheduled HSSE inspections and audits with Site Teams, driving proactive resolutions to maintain required standards.
- Assist in managing crisis and emergency situations, including incident reporting to relevant authorities and escalation in accordance with established procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in HSSE and Sustainability within district, township, or facility management environments.
- DOSH Green Book holder or candidate currently in the process of obtaining the Green Book (Yellow Book holders with relevant experience may also be considered).
- Strong operational leadership, with an enterprising mindset and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Remark: The contract is until October 2026. Renewable contract subject to management approval.
