Are you passionate about renewable energy, system testing, and end-to-end solution validation? As a Customer Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in bridging hardware and software by designing realistic test and simulation environments for photovoltaic (PV) systems and digital platforms. You will enable development teams to validate real-world scenarios—ensuring seamless integration across inverters, mobile applications, portals, and visualization tools.
This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy hands-on system setups, problem-solving, and working at the intersection of engineering, testing, and customer-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design realistic PV test and simulation environments
Create end-to-end scenarios that reflect real-world customer use cases, enabling developers to test software, hardware, and system interactions effectively.
• Support installation, commissioning, and simulation activities
Assist with lab and field setups, including inverter commissioning, simulation tools, and validation of operational scenarios.
• Enable seamless hardware–software integration
Ensure smooth interaction between PV inverters, mobile apps, web portals, and visualization platforms across test environments.
• Configure and maintain network and lab environments
Design, set up, and troubleshoot network configurations required for testing distributed PV and software systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Work closely with developers, testers, product managers, and R&D teams to support testing, integration, and issue resolution.
Required Qualifications
• Experience with simulation and testing of renewable energy systems
Strong understanding of PV system setups and hardware–software integration testing methodologies.
• Technical expertise in system and network configuration
Ability to design and manage lab networks and test environments for complex system validation.
• Proficiency in Java and test automation tools
Hands-on experience with Java for backend and integration tasks, and Playwright for automated testing of web and mobile applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Proven ability to diagnose system issues across hardware, software, and network layers.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
Ability to clearly document setups, test scenarios, and findings, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Experience working in renewable energy labs or PV system R&D environments
• Exposure to IoT platforms, cloud-based monitoring, and data visualization tools
• Familiarity with mobile app and portal configuration for energy systems
• Experience collaborating in agile, cross-functional development teams
