Who we are:
Indefi is a fast-growing strategy consulting firm that serves financial investors (private equity specialists, generalist asset managers, wealth managers, etc.). Established in 2007, we are a team of 80+ consultants with offices in Paris, Lyon, Madrid and London.
We operate through three business units:
Sustainability Advisory: We help our clients define and deliver their Responsible Investment strategy and operating model. We work across the value chain to support investors and portfolio companies in defining and embedding their chosen approach to ESG and sustainability impact.
Private Equity: We help private equity firms make better investment decisions at every stage of the deal life cycle and build greater returns. We also advise on investment firm strategy and development, creating value through improved performance.
Corporate Strategy: We conduct strategic development projects for global asset managers, including business strategy, market entry, distribution strategy, new product development, non-organic growth, and investment process enhancement.
We are looking for interns to join our dynamic Sustainability Advisory team, where we combine strategic insight with deep sustainability expertise to shape the future of finance.
Your Mission
Working under the guidance of a Senior Consultant, you will contribute to high-impact projects that span a wide range of complex sustainable finance topics for asset owners, asset managers, and portfolio companies. Your responsibilities may include:
Designing sustainable finance strategies, including climate and biodiversity integration
Supporting the launch of impact funds
Evaluating companies on ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) and impact criteria
Conducting strategic and sustainability due diligence on SMEs
Preparing strategic recommendations for C-level decision-makers
Contributing to the growth and development of our Sustainability Advisory practice
Your Profile
We are looking for a curious and motivated team player with a strong academic background and a genuine interest in sustainability:
About to graduate from a top business or engineering school, looking for your end-of-studies internship;
Available for 6 months starting in March 2026
Prior experience in strategy consulting, asset management / private equity and/or their sustainability/ESG teams
Passion for sustainable finance and social and environmental issues
Fluent in both French and English (daily working languages); additional European languages such as German, Spanish or Italian are a plus
Strong analytical and presentation design skills, business acumen, and a problem-solving mindset
Proactive, eager to take on responsibility quickly, with an entrepreneurial spirit and the drive to make a difference
