About the Role
As a Door-to-Door Solar Sales Representative, you will engage with residential customers face-to-face to educate them on community solar, present a simple no-upfront-cost program that offers guaranteed monthly savings, build trust and deliver exceptional customer experience, enrol new subscribers, represent a brand with strong market reputation and operational support, work closely with leadership, participate in structured training, and help drive expansion of new solar gardens across multiple states. This is a W-2 position with base pay, commissions, performance incentives, and full benefits. Candidates living in Maine or Minnesota will have first priority.
Essential Functions
- Engage with residential customers through door-to-door outreach.
- Educate customers on community solar and present program benefits.
- Build trust and deliver exceptional customer experience.
- Enroll new subscribers and manage accurate documentation.
- Represent a brand with strong market reputation and operational support.
- Participate in structured training and work closely with leadership.
- Help drive expansion of new solar gardens across multiple states.
- Meet or exceed sales quotas consistently.

Work Environment

- Occasional office time for training, meetings, and administrative tasks.
- Must be comfortable working independently and traveling locally within assigned territories.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to walk, stand, talk, and listen during door-to-door activities. Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position; evenings and weekends required.
Travel
Frequent travel/commuting to landowner homes. Candidates living in Maine or Minnesota will have first priority.
Required Education/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Experience in door-to-door sales is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
- Reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in solar or renewable energy industry.
- Prior experience in residential sales.
