Job Description & Summary

In banking and finance law at PwC, you will specialise in providing legal solutions and advice related to banking and financial transactions. You will have experience in regulatory compliance, contract negotiation, and financial transactions, and will be responsible for assisting clients in navigating complex banking and finance laws, maintaining compliance with regulations, and mitigating legal risks. Additionally, you will provide strategic guidance and support to clients in areas such as lending, capital markets, and financial regulations.

Examples of the skills, knowledge, and experiences you need to lead and deliver value at this level include but are not limited to:
You advise Swiss and international clients on sustainability regulations, in particular on regulations concerning sustainability reporting and sustainability due diligence obligations, with a focus on Swiss and EU legislation (KVI, VSoTR, CSRD, CSDDD etc.).
You help clients assess whether the regulations apply to their business units, determine their implementation status in relation to legal requirements, and jointly develop dedicated implementation roadmaps with them.
You support clients in preparing sustainability reports, from the materiality analysis through to the development of relevant KPIs and reporting processes.
You support clients in implementing emerging legal requirements for due diligence in the value chain.
You engage in dialogue with decision-makers and relevant specialist departments on the strategic further development and implementation of the above topics.
You work in a young, dynamic team and can expect interdisciplinary work with direct client interaction and responsibility for challenging projects.
You continuously develop your technical and methodological expertise through on- and off-the-job training.
