Manage carbon strategy and estimation for a major infrastructure programme. Develops whole-life carbon methodologies, drives low-carbon innovation, and ensures transparent carbon accounting. Manages a specialist team, engages stakeholders, and influences decisions to meet sustainability targets while supporting business growth through bidding and client relationship development.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Develop carbon estimation frameworks and tools.
- Embed carbon considerations into design and delivery.
- Apply whole-life carbon and cost assessments.
- Ensure compliance with carbon standards and best practice.
- Drive innovation to reduce carbon impacts.
- Provide strategic advice to clients and stakeholders.
- Manage bidding and business development initiatives.
- Mentor team and shape sustainability service growth.
You’ll need to have:
- Degree in environmental or sustainability discipline.
- Chartered environmentalist or equivalent professional membership.
- Proven experience leading carbon strategy on major projects.
- Strong knowledge of PAS 2080, ISO 14001, and UK regulations.
