Pinchin is seeking a Project Manager to join our Hazardous Materials and Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) team in Tilbury, ON. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this new role offers an opportunity to apply your expertise and uphold our commitment to excellence.
Role Overview
As a Project Manager at Pinchin, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality consulting services while mentoring staff and managing client relationships. Your responsibilities will include:
Project Leadership
- Manage hazardous materials and IEQ projects from proposal to completion.
- Oversee assessments, abatement planning, and remediation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with OHSA, CSA, ASHRAE, and other relevant standards.
Client & Business Development
- Maintain and grow client relationships.
- Support marketing efforts and contribute to business planning.
- Prepare proposals, reports, and contract documents.
Team Management
- Supervise and mentor junior and intermediate staff.
- Provide technical guidance and quality control.
- Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.
Technical Expertise
- Conduct hazardous materials and air quality assessments.
- Develop mould prevention and Legionella management plans.
- Provide infection control consulting for healthcare environments.
What you bring to the Pinchin team:
- 3–5 years of experience in hazardous materials or IEQ projects in a consulting environment
- Proven project management and team leadership experience.
- Post-secondary education in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Technology, or a related discipline.
- Strong communication, organizational, and technical writing skills.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications, drawings, and RFP/RFQ documents.
- Valid driver’s license, car, insurance coverage, and willingness to travel.
