- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience designing energy systems (solar, energy storage, etc..).
- Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, SEL Software, or similar.
- Understanding of grid integration, power electronics, and energy distribution.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, IEC).
- Knowledge of networking devices and troubleshooting communications.
- Must have valid driver’s license and a reliable mode of transportation.
- Ability to travel overnight for jobsite visits and/or client meetings.
Preferred Skills
- Professional certifications preferred but not required; NABCEP, FE, PE.
- Experience with microgrids, hybrid systems, and smart grid technologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must be self-directed and be able to work independently as well as in a team environment and take direction.
- Strong communication and written skills to interact with multiple disciplines in a construction and office environment.
