At SEYSES, we continue to strengthen our team to support strategic projects within the renewable energy sector.
We are looking to hire a Senior Civil Engineer with solid experience in civil engineering applied to wind, solar and/or energy storage (BESS) projects, to support Owner’s Engineering activities in projects starting early next year.
Position Overview
The selected candidate will join SEYSES as an internal team member, providing technical support focused on civil engineering review and validation, without performing detailed design or stamping activities.
The role is 100% remote (desktop-based) and focused on the technical review of documentation against owner’s plans, specifications and applicable codes.
Key Responsibilities
Review civil engineering drawings and documentation prepared by external engineering firms.
Verify compliance with applicable U.S. codes and standards.
Assess documentation against Owner’s plans and specifications.
Provide technical support to SEYSES project teams throughout different project phases.
Identify technical deviations, risks and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Senior-level experience in wind, solar and/or energy storage (BESS) projects.
Strong knowledge of U.S. civil engineering codes and standards.
Previous experience in Owner’s Engineering, technical review or owner-side engineering roles.
Ability to work independently in an international, remote environment.
Licensing
Professional license in the U.S. is highly valued and likely required.
Candidates licensed outside the U.S. may also be considered, provided they demonstrate extensive and proven experience working with U.S. codes and standards.
