The Division of Engineering Services (DES), Materials Engineering and Testing Services (METS) is looking to hire a Transportation Engineer Electrical (TEE) in the Office of Quality Assurance and Source Inspection (QASI).
Under the general direction of a Senior Transportation Electrical Engineer (Supervisor), the Transportation Engineer (Electrical), will perform quality assurance testing on the electrical/electronic products used in the California Transportation System. The Transportation Engineer (Electrical) will be headquartered in the Materials Engineering and Testing Services Laboratory in Sacramento. Extensive travel may be necessary.

Candidates are required to review the Minimum Qualifications (MQs) for this classification. If you meet MQs under Pattern II and require the TE Electrical in-person written hurdle exam, DO NOT TAKE the TE Electrical online exam prior to passing the written hurdle. Candidates who take the TE Electrical online exam prior to passing the written hurdle may negatively impact their hiring eligibility.
