NTU is seeking experienced and motivated individuals to join our dynamic team in Office of Development and Facilities Management. The department oversees the physical development and maintenance of all University buildings and grounds in support of the academic, research and administrative functions of the University. As the Senior Assistant Manager, you are responsible for overseeing the sustainability projects, monitoring environmental performance, and working with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with sustainability standards and advance NTU’s long-term environmental objectives.
Responsibilities:
Analyse and monitor campus energy and utilities consumption.
Provide and implement solutions for energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
Reporting and submission of sustainability data (water, energy, waste, and carbon emission) to the relevant government agencies.
Green Mark Renewal for existing buildings which consisting of both residential and academic buildings.
Review and check technical submission from contractor.
Manage the operation of Building management and Utility Management system.
Manage and administrate upgrading of building mechanical services projects.
Any other ad hoc duties and projects as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
Degree in Building or Facilities Management, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other relevant engineering/technical disciplines.
At least 5 years’ work experience in building services, M&E and/or Green Mark consultancy, or relevant experience in the construction industry.
Good knowledge of sustainability trends and developments, including low- or zero-carbon technologies.
Good understanding of BCA Green Mark requirements and criteria; experience with Green Mark and sustainability initiatives, including renewal for existing buildings, would be a strong advantage.
Good knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and ACMV controls; prior ACMV experience is an advantage.
Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for analysis and reporting.
Good project management skills, with the ability to work across projects and collaborate with different departments.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with tenants and other stakeholders.
A dynamic, resourceful, and self-motivated individual who is able to work independently.
