Job Summary\- <\/span><\/b>EHS Manager is responsible for managing and driving company environment, health and safety compliance and management functions and activities. <\/span>The successful candidate will be a self\-starter who enjoys daily involvement with company administrative and compliance operations while heading up the<\/span>
<\/p>
<\/span>
<\/p>
Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/p>
Drive and lead safety culture initiatives throughout all facilities<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Ensure that federal, state and local laws, regulations and rules are observed; OSHA Regulations and reporting requirements<\/span>
<\/li>
Ensure facility compliance with EHS regulations, hazardous material, environment\/air permits and is primary liaison with government agencies and inspectors.<\/span>
<\/li>
Ensure ongoing compliance of driver records (i.e. driverâs license, medical certification, etc.)<\/span>
<\/li>
Coordinate required training and maintain training completion records.<\/span>
<\/li>
Conduct accident investigations; ensure all vehicles are properly licensed and required documentation remains on each vehicle.<\/span>
<\/li>
<\/span><\/span><\/span>Maintain required manual and electronic records for internal and external compliance reporting.<\/span>
<\/li>
Partner with leadership to contribute to development and maintenance of safety policies and procedures.<\/span>
<\/li>
Use professional judgement to make corrective action recommendations<\/span>
<\/li>
Manage workers compensation claims<\/span>
<\/li>
Develop and implement site emergency response plans and serve as the emergency coordinator for events<\/span>
<\/li>
Interpret existing and proposed changes regarding occupational health, safety and environment regulations<\/span>
<\/li>
Perform other duties as required<\/span>

Qualifications<\/b>
<\/p>
College degree preferred; High School\/GED required<\/span><\/span>
<\/li>
Five plus years related safety experience preferred; environment, health and safety field a plus<\/span>
<\/li>
Knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA rules and regulations<\/span>
<\/li>
Ability to exercise sound judgement in order to balance job demands and meet objectives<\/span>
<\/li>
Organized, detail oriented, dependable, self\-starter with high integrity<\/span>
<\/li>
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<\/span>
<\/li>
Starting salary $60,000 to $80,000; competitive company incentives<\/span>
